Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of useoutgrown.com, the free Spreadsheet X-ray and the paid Outgrown plans. By using the site, joining early access or paying for a plan you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms.

2. What Outgrown is
Outgrown helps small and medium businesses whose operations run on a spreadsheet. The Spreadsheet X-ray is free and runs entirely in your web browser — your file is not uploaded to us. The paid plans turn what the X-ray finds into working systems: the Monday Number, The Spine and Ask Your Business. All paid plans are software subscriptions delivered online; nothing physical is shipped.
3. Early access
Paid plans are not yet on general sale. Joining early access is free and does not commit you to buy. When a plan opens we will email you with the price and terms that apply before you pay anything. Early-access features may change, and we may limit how many customers we take on at first.

Yearly billing is available on every paid plan at 10 × the monthly price (two months free). Prices shown in the checkout are final and include any tax the checkout adds.
We may change prices for future billing periods. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects an active subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
5. How you pay
5.1 Customers in South Africa — PayFast
If your billing country is South Africa you pay in rand (ZAR) through PayFast, a South African payment gateway. CODEXA SOFTWARE (Pty) Ltd is the seller. Your card or bank details are entered on PayFast's secure pages; we never see or store them. A plan is only activated when PayFast confirms the payment to us.
5.2 Customers outside South Africa — Paddle
If your billing country is outside South Africa, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all such orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for those orders, and its Buyer Terms apply to the purchase. You pay in US dollars; Paddle calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT due in your country.
6. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
7. Delivery
Paid plans are delivered electronically. Access is switched on as soon as payment is confirmed, usually within minutes. The Monday Number is sent each Monday at 7am in your business's time zone once your accounting system is connected. If something you have paid for is not delivered, tell us and we will fix it or refund you under the Refund Policy.
8. Your data
Your business data stays yours. We use it only to provide the service you have chosen, as described in the Privacy Policy. We never sell it and we never use it to train AI models. Where you connect an accounting system (for example Xero) you can disconnect it at any time. Your spreadsheet keeps working as before — Outgrown does not write back into your workbook.
9. Acceptable use
Use Outgrown only for lawful business purposes and only with data you are entitled to use. Do not attempt to access another customer's data, probe or disrupt the service, or resell it without our written agreement.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Outgrown available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve, change or withdraw features; if we withdraw a paid feature you rely on, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current period.
11. Liability
Outgrown gives you information to help run your business; decisions remain yours. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other law that cannot be excluded.
12. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Please contact us first — most problems are solved by email. If we cannot resolve a dispute it falls under the jurisdiction of the South African courts, without taking away any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the current version; material changes are emailed to paying customers at least 30 days before they apply.
